My mouse hand often gets very cold and numb, sometimes painfully so, especially at night. Does anyone know of a SA stockist of a heated USB mouse?

Hi Debbie
I've got a MS wireless optical mouse at the moment -- and for at least 12 hours a day I have the bloody thing in my hand. You'd think it would warm up, but it sucks the heat right out of my hand, especially my fingers.

And it's not like I have circulation problems or anything... I'm a skinny, healthy dude :)

Dude, have you ever tried doing precision mousework (is that a word?) with gloves on? :D
Believe me I've tried gloves, mugs of coffee, hot water bottles...

how odd... that a mouse sucks all the heat outa your hands, and the game pad makes your hands all sweaty... - perhaps its a Durban thing this time of the year... :)

Nothing ever gets cold in Durban!

heh... I wonder who else have grabbed and moved a cellphone around wondering why the mouse cursor won't move!. :D

I'm not sure if there's anything out there that will actually be of use to you :) You could just try taking your hand off the mouse once every two hours or so and flexing it etc.

And LabAnimal... yes :D
