Heath Ledger found dead

..far as i know the movie is already completed. He was busy shooting another movie..."The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus"

For all the 'druggie' posts - that's not the kind of drugs they meant. A bottle of sleeping tablets was found nearby, and they think it might have been suicide.

I think he's a moron for using drugs. He's a total loser for that. I feel sorry for his family though.

What's sad is how ppl here jump on the "druggie" and "suicide" bandwagon when his cause of death has not been confirmed yet; let's not deface the man's memory.

From what I've read, he was suffering from an ilness and might have taken an overdose of the drugs prescribed to treat his condition - accidental at best. This is just from what I've read - hasn't been confirmed yet.

That said, just because he was an actor, and there were drugs present, doesn't mean that he was a druggie, or that he intentionally overdosed, or that he committed suicide.

SlashFilm has been updating as they find out more.

Currently it seems the cause of death was cardiac arrest. Ledger is known to struggle with sleep when he's filming and he was using prescription and over the counter sleeping tablets.
The NY Police have said that currently they don't think it was suicide.

Very sad to see such a great actor die.

You'll find plenty of similar moron losers at the local bar. Especially when there is sport on. Then the moron loser druggies are really out in force.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply in my post that it was suicide :o Was just irritated with the druggie posts, and was trying to point out that it was sleeping tablets, not cocaine.

You're absolutely right - no-one knows yet, and initial reports of a 'drug related death' were misleading in that we interpret 'drugs' as illegal substances rather than medicinal substances.
