I am sick to death of this weather.
It cycles... gets damn hot like this, then when the rain comes it is accompanied by savage lightning that gets into my printers and computers despite protective devices.

It hit in my yard this past Saturday... putting an end to a lovely HP printer I had, one PC, and the cordless phone.

Cape Town hasn't been affected by the heatwave at all. The temperatures here have been pretty average.

That is true, excepts Tuesdays scorcher, it has not been that bad.

December 2012 my pool recorded 38 degrees.
The hottest it has been since has been 35, that was average for the previous summer.

It went up to 41 yesterday though. By 9am it was already 30-something.
