Ok so last night there was another episode in our guild and I decided I had enough.

I left the guild and I just started a Shaman, who is now lvl 40. Now my Rogue and my Shaman is stuck on a server that sucks, and I'm guild less :D
If I was on TWH that would not have been the case.

Anyway. Think I'll just sort my Warrior (Alliance) out for the time being. And lvl my Shaman in between. I think my raiding days are over for now. Prob best that way. I'm not committed to anything new, except to lvl, and have play at my own pace again.

Reason for this thread is just to warn people not to migrate from a server you started on. In the end it's not worth it ;)

Yup. We almost, *almost* took the free migration when it was offered.

Thank da lawd we didnt. Most of the 'old guard' players on US have already rerolled on TH or are now really starting to(lots of peeps from Affliction already have and are raiding as we speak, and FoA just started out on TH a few days ago), so I'd say it'sa good time to start over on TH with a new toon and try something different.

OMG dont say stuff like that ...

I am migrating to shadowsong the weekend. I have been offered a very very nice position in <Hive> on shadowsong in their "Path finder" raid team. Its pretty much their progression team.

Oh boy... at least its only a 31 day cooldown on server migration before I can go back... only problem is, the officers in my current guild are not to happy about me leaving, so in a sense, it looks like I am burning my bridges when I leave and wont be able to come back.

TWH, is full. Will try allow me to transfer back ?

I still have chars on there ;)

The Full is a bit misleading. You might be able to transfer to TH even if it's showing as full.

I should be more like Fullish or something similar :P

Pitbull, strange you say this. I tried at one stage to move my toon from a US majority US realm to one where there are quite a lot SA guys....even though I was around other boytjies....it just did not feel the same. I ended up starting over on EU server :(

I tried to analyse my experience and could only come up with one solution. Your toon, when lvl'ing from 1 to 70, build up relationships. These relationships are crucial to the enjoyment of the game when you hit 70 and dip into end game content.

I would say if you really wanna roll on a new realm, start a new toon.

If you move your 70 to another realm where you have RL friends, it'll be a different story.

100% correct.

I miss those people so much on TWH. Migration was the worst decision I have ever made on WoW ;)

Oi...Pitbull... which thread is your signature from? I think I want to read it.

I actually had the opposite.

I leveled my US toon on an Australian server and joined an Aus guild.
I had some SA friends there but because I was 60 and couldn't Raid due to the time zone I moved to SR where most of the SA Alliance played.

It was an excellent move and I reckon I wouldn't be playing WoW if I hadn't because Raiding is why I play.

I suppose the fact I'm a very focused leveler might effect that.
I don't really group unless I absolutely have to for a quest I've already unsuccessfully tried to solo and I leave when we're done.
I find groups slow me down too much.

I can understand Time zones and so forth, I would obviously leave an USA server to play on a EU server instead and that would be a 100% win.

But on an Eu server to an EU server.... not the same thing ;)

Thats the thing. That was pre-BC when i still played on US.
I carried on playing there including leveling a new toon 1-70 and raiding.

Since then i rerolled entirely on EU.

What exactly is TH? and why do i keep hearing it being mentioned?
