haha you and me both! I hacked it to crap, had all the leet items on the int servers.

Diablo2 came and I had to work for them. I was actually quite contempt in finding some good items :)
 
Tabula Rasa OR Hellgate.................... Is the question here, i only have 1 soul to give away.
 
Isnt the Tabular Rasa monthly sub around 12 pounds if I am not mistaken? Quite steep IMO.

I can say that I have enjoyed playing this game (online) for about 24 hours (would have had a lot more time, but I have a lot of work to do). The network lag is not noticeable in my opinion, except for big parties - I play on the EU server.

To be honest, I am not all that keen on asking party requests every game to random people just for them to be present in any quests - most of them are AFK or simply don't accept.

Overall I like the game very much, I just wish the game was more sociable (and that I had more free time - just couldn't resist reviving Diablo / NetHack days) ;)

I would say go for it.
 
Ya, I'm enjoying it too, but I've only played single player. It feels just like you're playing Diablo, but with better graphics.

Despite the mediocre reviews that are coming in, I'm quite happy with HGL - as long as your'e just expexting an item collection / character upgrade bonanza and not much else, you should love this game.
 
I have been playing it too, I have a level 4 summoner, feels like Diablo, and it’s no Diablo 3 just yet, or rather what I imagine Diablo 3 to be, which is strange because when I think of Diablo 3 I want it to be more of Diablo 2 and 1 :) I am waiting for that, much like the rest of the world. But it feels good, may I be the one of many to say screw you for not adding LAN as a multiplayer option. The whole pay to play system does not work with this type of RPG, it is far closer to Guildwars and very very far from a large scale none instanced MMORPG like WOW
 
Hey does anyone know how the patching system works? if i want to patch the single player portion what do i do?
 
I have a level 7 summoner now...it's great fun! It was so hard to quit the game. The crafting is SO fun! It's so hard to sell items instead of dismantling them for parts :p

have they put the subscriptions back on ?
