You should have a staff as a starter weapon ;)

Some of us have been playing for a long time, the game as a easy learning curve :D

U will be using staffs :)

U get different forms for different functions.

Boomking for Casting DPS
Tree for for healing (Alot later in game)
Cat form for Melee DPS.

You learn with time and asking alot of questions ;)

And messing around with all different classes :o

You will pick it up rather quickly, it's not rocket science even though it seems to be in the beginning :D
 
Strangly enough, i'm going to suggest reading the WoW manual (i still have my pre-tbc version). Its very very helpful!

I read mine when I was on the crapper :D

There I learnt that Spirit also helps with health regen. I always thought is was for Mana only :D

what you must remember drew is that stats are what counts when it comes to casting classes, those are your druids,mages, warlocks etc.. Those classes not are melee classes (unless you are feral spec for druid). But most require on +sta and +int, your dps classes rely on +agi +AP (attack power), then you get your tanking spec classes which are +str +stam i think i dont do tanking classes.

so when you get staffs and daggers or watever its the stats you are going for.

my girlfriend is better at wow than i am she has two level 80's already and a like the best gear ever:(

hehe np mate.

Glad you went for a pure DPS class for now. Being a hybrid without any first hand knowledge of instancing and grouping will cuase you only pain as you learn still. Once you have the basics under the knee you can always create another char :)

I still need to find Vent for the mac os :(

Cool, I've hit a tough patch in the area I am in now I got killed about 4 times after I wondered off on my own! I am not able to buy in more spells yet and I have the biggest weapon I am allowed.

Maybe you can check it out and suggest something :D

I know what the problem is :o

I was in your group while you did your quests and killed mobs. Because of my high level your xp was less per kill. You should have been level 6 before you left the starting area.... sorry that was my fault.

Best would be to go back there and just kill a few of those mobs at level 4/5 till you reach level 6 then go back to where you are now. You will learn new skills at level 6

Yeh I am close to 6 sitting on 5 at the moment (that number is so low :P) will head back and kick some more @ss and then go back and see if I can get rid of the F#*ckers

You don't really need it as yet. You will only need it once you hit 70. So I would suggest holding out a bit. It will get cheaper and thus when you need it you should be able to get it for a steal :)
