help - adding sata port to motherboard

The controller is on the card so I don't see why not. I had an adaptec sata2 card long ago while my MB only did SATA1 and I got SATA2 speeds with it.

Sweet. Thanks for the confirmation.
They aren't that pricey either, which is cool.
I'll definitely get one if the bucks are there.
I might need to source longer SATA cables, due to the size of my graphics card and PCI port locations.
