Hi

Could anyone help me setup my router. I have called iburst 3 times but they are useless.

So I have the router plugged in, the USB modem plugged into the router and the ethernet cable into my mac. I have gone to http://192.168.1.254 and logged in. From here I have followed iburst instructions with the following settings

WAN connection
Main port > EWAN
Protocol > PPPoe
username > iburst email address
password > *********
service name > blank (default)
IP address > 0.0.0.0 (default)
Authentication protocol > auto
MTU > 1392
IPv6 > "unchecked"

I then hit apply and it just sits with the message "Please wait, it takes a few seconds to apply the new change".
The "internet" light on the router goes red and stays on. The router page just hangs.

From here no one at iburst can help me. They have told me to reset the modem (which I have done), and the other guy said he'd read the manual and never get back to me.

Can anyone please help me get this thing set up?

Thanks

are you sure the router can handle the iBurst USB modem? Usually routers with 3G modem capability have a select subset of compatible devices.

yes, I confirmed with iburst that the 7300NX supports their USB modem

THE ANSWER:
Main Port must be set to 3G not EWAN!!!
No thanks to the 6 different iburst support people and the 45 mins spent on the phone for telling me EWAN. How useless are you? Luck no.7 that I spoke to now told me set it to 3G and tick "enable iburst", so no iburst, the router is not broken and Im not bringing it in to your office so you can waist more of my time.
Hope this helps you if you have the same issue
