[HELP]Billion Bipac 7300

My friend just bought a Billion Bipac 7300 (not wireless) and i was wondering if any1 has one ?? I need the router to work as a pppoe modem like a normal adsl modem will work. He wants to create a connection in windows and then connect to the internet in that manner. Any help will be appreciated because i can't seem seem to figure it out. Thanks ( if you have another billion router that maybe the same interface please help me. I can be exactly the same)

Ok for those who are wondering u set the connection to type RFC1483-Bridge. Then it works like a modem. Enjoy

Nothing like reviving a year old thread.

But when changing it to RFC1438-Bridge, can you still use it like a router as well?

I ask this because the old crappy marconi Telkom gave me that I used to use allowed me to be connected via the router itself as well as use it as a modem, all at the same time.
Is this possible?

Hi

When you change it to RFC1438-Bridge mode then it will be like a "modem"
Rather enable PPPoE relay on the device then you will have a router that will do a second connection on your PC.
