We really should damage the mag strip on the new cards and stick tape over the cvv and remember it. Just have a backup like cash or a debit card for the times they dont have a chip and pin machine. Its just hard if you need to use the CC abroad.

That's what I was wondering, FNB phoned me the first large inlt payment I made and this was suspicious activity, how the heck could I fly from NY to Michigan in a few minutes to swipe my card. I would assume that kind of activity would automatically get blocked?Would banks not pick this up and flag the transactions as suspect?
Restaurant transaction from what I could gather was a take away, guy ordered then collected and paid with the cloned card.This is not a credit card so don't expect the bank to monitor every transaction.
