Help HSDPA modem and Windows 8?

Hi all!

I need some help please?

I bought a new computer installed windows 8 and I'm really strugling to install my old mtn modem. Its the Huawei E220 hsdpa modem.is there anyone with the same issues? Or I'm I missing something? Or am I wasteing my time with old software?

Are you with Vodacom or MTN?

Since you're posting in the Vodacom forum - I would suggest you try setting up the drivers via the MDMA thread. Just not sure if they are compatible with Windows 8.

Alternatively you could install the Vodafone software which supports Windows 8 with the Win8 drivers for the E220.

I would suggest you try look for VMB 10.3.210.41379, as I've read that VMB 10.3.401.43721 does not support older modems like the E220 any longer.
