oh cr@p!
i think i broke it !

so last night after ages i finally get everything activated mweb, adsl etc so as a first time user i ofcourse dowloaded Utorrent and the likse signed on to bitfarm and proceeded to download a torrent 350mb (some collection of songs) anyways Utorrent automatically adjusts the setting etc first question DOES THIS INCLUDE PORT FORWARDING?

next question : the torrent download speed was very very slow like 0.1kb WHY ?

last question : i left it on over night and this morning when i check on it there no picture ! checked the hdmi cable and its fine even changed back to the rgb cable and its still doesn't work ! what the hell did i do ???

took out the graphics card and plugged the rgb cable straight to the mobo but still nothing !

did i blow something ? the pc seems to start up fine just no picture

HELP HELP HELP!! i used the interwebs for one day and i already broke something

1 UTorrent does not forward your ports automatically. You'll need to set it manually first. That might explain your speeds - otherwise try a different torrent with better trackers.

2 Boy that's a mystery - you say it doesn't show even if you use the onboard video with a standard vga cable?

You didn't download something from Sony did you? Oh god, please dont say you did! If Sony pick it up they send a 4v downstream current to your VGA port which disables the Vsync and causes the problem you describe. Contact sony and once you pay the fine, they will send the necessary -4V signal to re-enable the port....

If not then try reseat your RAM and processor. Does the CPU/PSU fan spin when switching on the machine?
