Help identifying spider

I was standing on the back of a bakkie a couple years back, driving through the veld. When we drive straight into one this fsckers and it ended up on my chest.. I jump off the bakkie, moving slowly luckily, screaming like a little girl.. Somehow, with the fall and rolling on the ground, the thing was gone.
I still shiver when I think of that thing..

/shivers..

So we have this beast in our garden...
Can anyone identify it?
Is it poisonous/dangerous?
We threw a worm we found while chopping firewood into his web and he went to it and bit it and then just held it like forever, can't see the worm anymore... :wtf:

I love spiders when they sit in the corner and look at me. Once they start moving in my direction or jumping towards me. I move away, QUICKLY!!!! These pics came out amazing.... Beautiful spider

Ok.. so I found this scary thing outside my window this morning...

Any ideas as to what is can be before it meets my can of Doom ?

The only insects I kill are flies, mozzies, and roaches. It is a sin to kill a spider in my book, rather relocate it if you must/can. Else just leave it in your garden.

Just found this in the garden.. I nearly walked into it.

I was agreeing with you right up to the time I scrolled down.

I found this little critter relaxing in my room this morning.

Anyone familiar with this species - able to assist in identifying it?
