Get the R9 270X, bang for buck it's as good as it gets at the moment.

Would you like me to share some Nvidia Reviews? :p
Sure. In the R9 270X review the GTX660 results are in there. The GTX660 is almost 2 years old, so doubt those reviews would have the R9 270X in there.

Are you not referencing older GTX660's? The 660 I posted says range was released in March 2014 on New Egg...

They don't change the components on the GPUs, still produce them, but they won't change the tech... So basically, the same model of a GTX660 in 2012 will perform exactly the same as a new one in 2014.

A gtx 660 will not perform the same as a TI.
a TI won't perform the same as a TI OC.

But that's not really the point.
I would trust EmileS here as he is the most knowledgeable it seems.
I can only comment on personal experience.

It's safe to say the 750 is not as good as either of the cards mentioned by EmileS or myself.

True that, although the GTX750Ti is R600 cheaper.

If you're going to opt for the 750ti rather go for this one from takealot http://www.takealot.com/gigabyte-nvidia-geforce-gtx750-gddr5-pci-e-3-0-graphics-2gb/PLID28732481 , has a external power connector, which I read will give you a performance boost if you overclock, the MSI uses no external power, they're practically the same price, and the gigabyte one is prettier:D
Overclocking on a Mac... Now that's going to be fun! :p

Just make sure your PSU has a PCIe connector then OP, if you are looking at overclocking. Otherwise the MSI would be perfect.

Lol missed the mac part, but either way, the gigabyte one is a whole R21 more expensive, surely a better buy than the MSI one:D And its sooo pretty:love: The MSI card looks like cheap plastic

And the gigabyte would be made from expensive plastic?
MSI is a trusted name as is Gigabyte.
