Hi guys please can someone help me?

I have a basic E-commerce site from OScommerce, now I want to edit this site to fit what I need and put in images and stuff that suits my own criteria.

I have sweet bugger all knowledge on how to use HTML code, etc.
I have Frontpage now and am trying to import the whole site in order to edit this.
Is there no way to do this in a GUI interface? I was told Frontpage can do this.

Please can someone help?:sick::sick:
Thanks

Well then what do they use? Code only? Thats just ridiculous.
Surely people would rather use GUI??

real men use notepad :)

besides, some of us experts are actually busy with our work as developers ;)

Picture it, Sicily 1945, somebody is running through the town streets shouting:
Help help!
I've got to do a heart transplant on my cousin.
All you experts!
Help me!
I have the chest open and the heart is lying there beating.

Then somebody steps out and says:
Yes, I remember when I could feel my heart beating in my chest.
Then somebody else steps out and says:
Yup, I felt my girlfriend's heart beat once.

Lol.

Actually, ask the E-Commerce guys to give you pointers, that's what you pay them for.

Try Magento (I think its called that) instead of OSCommerce. OSCommerce was written by the OSS community. Who (other than with compiz) are not known to be the most creative UI interface creators in the world. If a car is an analog.. they like working on the engine... someone else still needs to do the style.

Wiz can you tell me then, I have the site, how would I bring the whole site with links into Frontpage?
Please can you assist me?
I dont have the money to pay a developer for this and am trying to do this on my own.
I understand that FP is the easiest to use for GUI.
I did try Magneto but its too complicated.
I have the pages but not sure how to edit all the pages in one easy interface.
Please man I am begging :)

Real men use a magnetised needle and a steady hand...

No, real men use butterflies :p

marine1, admittedly I'm not a FrontPage expert, but I really don't think you can use it to edit a web application. The pages are generated by php pulling data out of a db, and I'm not sure that FP can work with that.

Chiskop thanks man, any idea how a noob like me can get this done?
I would like to take the website template and just edit it.

I thought FP was the only program to do this properly.
:(:(

I think OSCommerce runs on a template system like many of the scripts out there.

You find a theme folder with a header and footer, you just have to get the header and footer right, basically take an existing html site and slice it up

Try Admin → Select Languages → Details → file manager → Includes → header.php → edit

You should also be able to edit the other sections of the site there as well, catalogue, navigation etc
