Hello everyone,
I cancelled my textbook orders for 4th year varsity. ****ing R3900 worth of paper pisses me off to no end. I've found all my textbooks online so I need to grab a tablet to substitute...
So basically my requirements are that I need to be able to read my textbooks without ****ing up my eyes and hopefully be able to take notes with it as well. I'm not sure if this means I need a FHD display, from looking in the shops the 7" tablets seem way too small. I'm thinking 10"/9.7" or maaaybe 8.4".
The kind of notes I take are usually mathematical/engineering kinda notes so lots of diagrams and not really much words. Is the galaxy s-pen tablets a gimmick or actually useful? I'd also like a LTE or at least 3G enabled tablet as class notes are usually given online only.
Battery life not that important, class is only from 8-5pm and I dont mind charging everynight. Needs to be android as the apps I develop for my phone need to be on their as well.
I really wanted to get the amazon fire HD 10, full HD screen and large. No 3G or LTE though but at $99 I could just get one of those portable router things from mtn but amazon refuses to ship to SA still :erm:
My budget is about 4K but anything cheaper that would do the job is great. I'm mainly looking for experiences that you guys have had reading etc. on your tablets
