Could not find any info either, and I agree with you on the necessity of the things.
Found the details here
Seems it's a B65 board so it does have one SATA III port and 4 Dimms

Lenovo PC (incl VAT) = R6,268.86
If you had to build this PC yourself:
Core i7 2600 ~ R3,000
H61 motherboard ~ R500
4GB RAM ~ R200
Windows 7 Pro x64 DSP ~ R1400
DVD-Writer ~ R150
1TB HDD ~ R700 (if you can manage to get one for this price)
Case and PSU ~ R400
Total (incl VAT): R6,350
Price difference is about R100, which ain't that big, however it would cost you in terms of time to build the PC yourself![]()
Why would you want to spend 3k on a 2600 when a 2500 is 1k cheaper though? Even a 2400 will do the job.
@h0ll0w:
1TB external drive for R650 + another R39 or so for shipping:

@copacetic:
I'm actually curious to know what the difference is between the B65 chipset and the others (eg H61/H67/P67/Z68).
I would also love to know what PSU its got, because the cases that goes for around R400 that includes the PSU are horrible. 2 of the PSU's listed on the spec webpage seemed to be quite efficient if I'm not mistaken: 85% for the 280W and 90% for the 320W.
