I have a KATA DR 461, nice and compact backpack!

That is very nice actually, I might just want one of those :p

What do they cost +-?

I have a nice lowepro waterproof bag, but that backpack looks more convenient.

I've got a kata, I think its the r101. Virtually indestructible and the bright yellow/orange interior is pure genius.

Too bad my gear has basically outgrown it.

Mine came with the Canon 550D Twin Lens bundle, so not too sure of price :(

Ok Guys, Went to Pavs yesterday and ended up getting a Lowepro Fastpack 250. I must say small enough to carry and big enough for my stuff. Am impressed and its very comfortable. At the same time i decided to purchases the SB-600 Flash and my God price difference in stores is CRAZY. i spent about an hour at various shops and and most of them had it marked at R3799.95. CRAZZZZZZY. One store gave to me at R3190.00 and says there is no way they can beat that price. Thats the best i will ever find so they say. However i went to Govan mani and bloody hell they had it marked at R2799.95 (and thats there normal selling price). NOW WTF. why all different prices and why mark up so high and give a big discount. We not stupid. well anyway i got a further discount of R200.00 bucks and must say i am happy. I am sure if i shopped a bit more online i might find a bit cheaper but i guess this is a good price.

Well guys i guess shop around first, Thats all i can say.

Now on another topic. i am still a newbie at photography and was wondering what kit should i get for keeping my D5000 and lens clean... so many different options but what must i get???

At the least, I'd suggest a lens-pen and a microfiber cloth specifically meant for lenses

Or a r2 packet of Rizla rolling papers. ;)

Now a sensor pen on the other hand is invaluable once you've gotten over the initial heebie-jeebies of touching the (protective glass in front of the) sensor.

I bought a 4 pack of Micro Fibre clothes from my local MIDAS, use them for cleaning LCD TV's, laptop screens, iPhone sceens and camera equipment :) Can't live without them, even have one kept in the car for cleaning inside of windscreen :)

and... UV filters, cost effective way of protecting camera lens :)

Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned the potential for harm they can do to an image far outweighs the mediocre "protective" factor.
