Tried updating bios but no boot after that.

Disconnected/removed everything but mb & cpu power. Got a 4gb fat32 formatted usb stick with BIOS.ROM file in root. Bios flashback button pressed which cause led to flash 3 time then nothing.

Any ideas?

I found another usb stick (probably tried 4 others before this), made sure it's MBR (as with the others) and now the frigging thing is flashing away which give me hope...

Only saw this now. Please update with results?

She's purring like kitten right now, all good. It's bloody frustrating though, probably tried 20 times with different sticks exact same procedure until I found that last stick and it worked first time..

I have to ask what was the reason for the update?

I now have another issue, the R5 1600AF temps shoot to 90+ C under brief load, maybe the cooler did not go back on properly after reinstalling cpu post bios update., will inspect tomorrow.

New paste and cooler reseat now idling at 34C and about 80C under 100% load after 3min in aida64 stability test. During a bit of game it's ~50C.

This sounds about normal I think.

Depends on cpu and cooler, but does sound about right for an average. It's within the expected thermal range for a lot of cpu models.
