Help needed asap

Can anyone please help. i have a telkom adsl 3gig premium account on a 512k line and im getting shocking download speeds. i need an unshaped test account to see if its my isp or my line thats faulty. its a new instalation (2 weeks old) and i am concerned as my friend get 55kbps and i only get 30 - 42max

it's your LINE, not the ISP.

WebAfrica, as wioth any other SAIX-based ISP re-sell the SAME SAIX accounts, just like Telkom.

Use the Telkom speed test. Links are provided on the myAdsl home page. If you do not get your required speed there, even Telkom will listen, in fact their helpline insists on running the test. And it is free of charge. Use the FTP version.

i tested the line with my friends account and its the line thats messed.now i have to fight with telkom again
