Which bank is the best option for a startup business?

Its a relative question. All banks are good, check which gives you the best options and prices you need at the time.

I tried to contact all four of the big banks. I got really bad service, except from one, Nedbank Wadeville. If you want the contact person that I dealt with, PM me your email address and I will put you into contact with him.

We've got a business account with each major bank, they're all the same in the end in service, just check the fee's.

Nedbank will give you free banking as a startup if you loan more than R150k from them.
They also have incredible advice for start-ups.

I went to one of their small business seminars. Good Stuff.

My wife is with Standard Bank and their OK for her small business. Much of the frustrations she dose experience with them seem to be common with other banks.

My policy on banks has always been to go with the one whose local branch staff you like the most `cause remember your going to have to talk to when frustrations arise.
