Help needed fixing my electric wheelchair

Kimbo

I have spoken to Shoprider in Pretoria, they are willing to have one of their technicians call you to you and try figure out where the problem may be and how to resolve it.

i see you are having to survive on a disability grant - shoprider will probably use whatsapp - if you are on mtn i can load your number onto my data contract, if not on mtn, i can send airtime to you to make sure you have enough data / airtime for the task at hand.

the chap at shoprider told me to send him your name and number & they will contact you.
when you are online again, dm me and we'll take it from there.

Auto X (Willard)donated two batteries to me for one of the staff members at work.
a lot of companies at quite willing to help out people genuinely needing help, but often people may not want to ask for help (hence my approach of 3rd party advocating on behalf of the person needing the help).

the "long & short of it" - if you dont ask, you'll never receive !

next up - the battery challenge.
going to see if i can charm Freedom Won for a pair of these:

should be an interesting conversation. 😇

A worthy upgrade if ever there was one.

Grant, I owe you a few beers if ever we should meet. (I suspect you're more of the cocktail type though).

I am on the PC now and can see better. Lifepo4 is a straight swop out for lead acid i thought it was lithium iron phosphate (they need a different charger), the only thing then might be the BMS, many of them dont like to be connected in series (i wanted to do this swop some time ago and ran into this problem)

So a big thanks to Daniel at Shoprider (SA), for offering to get one of their technical people to try help our kimbo diagnose the problem telephonically from Pretoria.
What was the problem/solution ?

so your shoprider has it's own onboard charger input - a 3 pin female input.
your charger has the the 3 pin male plug to mate with the onboard input.

what is your charger's voltage and amp output ?
