Hello, please help me build or find a small powerful computer, I am sick and tired of this massive Full Tower piece of space.

This is what I am thinking, advice?

Any other build suggestions? Budget R15 - R20ishK

What are my needs?

Possibility to run 2 x 27 screens (HD is fine 4K would be a bonus) - Will start out with just one 24" HD screen then hoping to replace it with 2 x 27" Dells later.

I use chrome (40 - 80 tabs at any one given time.)

Also planning on doing some podcasting, maybe a bit of streaming at a later stage.

I have a Synology DS716+II DiskStation so no need for storage hardrives just a decent SSD for the OS.

All help appreciated.

Seems like you have it covered. Maybe a k CPU would be better so you can get more performance out of the system.

Look on carbonite as well if you willing to get 2nd hand stuff.

Save R2000 and buy OEM I7-6700 from carbonite, no need really for I7-7700. Just make sure set to run 4ghz all the time in the bios.

That B150 board won't have bios support for I7-7700, you need another cpu first to flash the bios then you can use I7-7700 on it. So another reason just buy I7-6700.

I've owned several lian li mini itx cases over the past few years. Really top quality stuff. Just note the hdd expansion capacity for the future.

Sweet, I was wondering about that.

Any small motherboards that are Am4+?

Starting to concider Ryzen

What about a Mac Mini, I understood you would move to Apple?!
What is a mac mini?

I wanted to move to Apple then I saw the mac pro (small trashcan that I love) would cost more than the deposit on the parking lot I'm buying. Rediculous.

You can buy 2 versions, If you buy new, then ram is soldered to board, but you can upgrade HDD/SSD.

The 2014 version (secondhand) you can upgrade ram and HDD.

Cheapest way to get MacOS.

You get that huge trackpads and Apple Keyboards as well.

If you're not getting an unlocked chip, you can leave the cooler. Stock is good enough + those 120 mm AIOs are a waste of money, imo.

Specs is a bit light in the pants unfortunately for the price

Ahhh sweet, I actually want to look at those Zotac PCs come to think of it.

If you can hold out for a bit, then see what Apple comes up with later in the year, the Mac Mini and iMac are going to be updated if not June then September October. In the meanwhile save your money, Apple is expensive but you know you want to.

The previous gen Mac Mini was IMHO better than the current version because you could update RAM and storage plus as standard it had a i7 model option.
A high spec Mac Mini will suit your needs, alternatively a mid spec 27 inch iMac, then you only have to buy 1 more 27 inch monitor, so if looking at iMac pricing remember to factor in the price of the monitor you want to buy later.
For the Mac Mini your R15 - R20K budget will be good, you'll probably be able to get a maxed out Mini for under R20K, if looking at a mid spec 27 inch iMac you'll have to go up to R30 - R35K, but remember that monitor cost, plus the iMac's come with 5k monitors these days.

Like with the tech specs of the iPhone vs Android, it's the same with Mac.

What, are you buying a parking lot?
Parking spot sorry not a whole lot.

Yea that other formatee got me interested in parking spots/lots to rent out.

Good point in don't need to upgrade right now. Pocket is just burning. I will wait out till December and then come bank to this thread.
