Help needed with PPPoE and Router!

Hi there,

Today I moved into my new home in centurion. It is a student house and internet is provided via a LAN PPPoE connection. My goal is to share the PPPoE connection I have in my room through the use of a router. I did some research about the PPPoE stuff but I'm completely new to the PPPoE stuff. Is it possible to share the lan connection in my room with the use of a router. The router is currently have is a Asus DSL-N10E. Thank you!

In which sense is it PPPoE? do you have to dial up to it with an account to use it?
If that is the case then you will probably need something more intelligent with two network cards to do it.
If that is the case and you dont want to spend money then install a virtual machine and run clearos/smoothwall etc on it.
The downside to that is your pc would need to be on all the time to share the connection.
