Help needed with Windows Server 2008

Hey all.....

I have moved to Windows Server 2008. The main function of the server is to utilise it as a web server.

The problem I am experiencing is the date format on the web pages. The dates are displaying as MM/dd/yyyy, I need it to display it as yyyy/MM/dd. These dates are from a sql table.

I have changed the formats, regional settings, (sShortdate and sLongdate in regedit) and the location, however the dates display incorrectly to all users. Moving the website back to the previous server displays the date correctly.

The problem I am experiencing is the date format on the web pages.

And what webpages would these be? Joomla, PHP, Wordpress, .Net, etc? Are you using the exact same SQL database and exact same code? Are you using the same version of Microsoft SQL Server on both servers?

After changing the regional settings, did you restart IIS?

Thanks it lead me indirectly to the solution.

Changed the DefaultAppPool Identity from NetworkService to LocalSystem. Restarted the Pool, refreshed the page and its is working.
