Help Netgear DG834Gv4 used as switch(LAN+WiFi)

Hi, I have a question please. I have a HUAWEI-B593 LTE modem (let's call it A) and an old ADSL WiFi router: Netgear DG834Gv4 (let's call it B).

A is working fine and I need to connect one of the cables from its ports to a port1 of B.
Such that I can simply spread the signal from A to B, and from B out of his ports and out in the air...but I seem to have a problem because B is expecting the signal coming from its ADSL port (rj11), while I'm sending it the signal by the rj45 of the first port. I can't even configure B because it can't see any signal coming from the ADSL port and so it doesn't display me the configuration window.
What can I do?

What you need to do on the Netgear:
1) Plug a network cable from your PC to the router directly so you can configure it.
2) Set it's IP to be the on the same range as the Huawei (so you can manage it later).
3) Turn off DHCP.

Then you're good to go.
