bud, just visit www.gameburnworld.com and then search for the no-cd/dvd exe or patch for that game.. and replace the old one, by clicking on the icon of the game and properties then find target, and then paste there... quite simple actually..

thanks for all the help guys.....i managed to sort it out last night...thanks killadoobs ...apparantly not all the emulaters were "turned on" 
works great now ...
just that my disk two of need for speed underground not loading now...some error cant read files ...it got scratched badly....old game i know but still one of my favorites
...oh well will have to go out and buy a new copy somewere.....
