You can register for tax if you earn 60k or more a year, but you have to submit a return if you earn 120k or more a year

The 120k is now 350k? So if I earn less then that I don't have to worry?

You might not get tax back that is due to you...

If your tax is extremely simple (not TFSAs or RA or such or other claims like big out of pocket medical expenses) and only 1 employer for the year and no unemployed period and employer has competent HR and under that tax threshold, then most likely you do not need to submit

Kindly note that the 'IT77 registration form for Individuals' was discontinued and that the only way to register is to visit a SARS branch where the friendly staff will register you on our system.
