Same here, one of my other computer after replaced the motherboard also found new PCI device everytime on boot but upon let it auto install driver from the MB driver CD still the same thing(onboard video, audio, lan and only PCI device is a MODEM which already installed).

Ja ... it is and it seems like the slot that it refers to is the same slot that the card is installed in. I wonder if I should just insert the motherboard drivers in the CD rom and then ask the automated feature to find the appropriate driver on that disk? Maybe that will work.
Also, how can I check if this card (and the rest of the PC) is running optimally ? I got some of those programs from Ness but don't know what to do with them.

Told Ness that they are nice for checking your pc specs and making sure everything is being picked up.CPU-z is nice for that, it will show you the mobo,ram and GFX specs etc.
The other were just temp monitoring tools(coretemp and speedfan), to see that its nice and cool and the cooler is doing its job.
Maybe the comp isn't picking up or recognising the GFX card drivers.? Maybe trey inserting that CD(GFX card) instead and have the comp look the appropriate up to date stuff.

On an Asus Board its usually the ATK0110 Acpi Utility that is detected as a pci device. Have never seen the driver on a motherboard cd.
Just download the driver from the asus website and let the hardware wizzard browse to the folder where you extracted the small zip file. It will find the device if this really is the solution and correct device.

Check in device manager that the primary and secondary devides appear as your graphics. I know the old ati cards workd that way.
I tried to search driver for such device through internet. Came back NOTHING!......
Asus only lists it as "ACPI Driver" under ATK in the downloads section.
I notice that no ATK driver has been released for that specific board but I have used the one below successfuly on many 939 and AM2 boards.

May not work but its worth a shot anyway
EDIT: According to a few forums installing the AI Booster app from the mobo cd will also resolve the issue. Googleit: http://www.google.co.za/search?q=ATK0110
