i think a saw poorboys in boksburg...

...burnishing compound would be my last resort. try meguiras (spelling?) scratch remover, i have diamond guard and it works until you wash the car, then the scratches are back.

otherwise glazing might be an option, although you will need to "top it up" every 6months or so

That diamond guard stuff is useless, it's more a filler than anything else. Actually, anything you see on a infomercial is crap come to think of it.

ok poor-boys recommended www.mobile-image.co.za in jhb ...i phoned and the good news is that they CAN remove the scratches ! bad news is that it's gonna cost a grand to do (small hatch-back car). oh well guess i'll have to do it some time soon so might as well go with them when i can get the cash

You can get them removed with a electric buffer... and a good quality polish/wax.
