Good morning all .
My is my problem ,
I am on a 2meg line right now all through telkom. I am on an uncapped account (i know being with telkom IS the problem) . I would like to go to a 4 meg line apparently my exchange can manage it. What is the cheapest way to drop the telkom uncapped part? Without having to pay extra. I read a while ago , when i gave up with mweb , that dropping the uncapped going to a smaller package cost nothing, that really saved a few rands. Is there something similar i can do with telkom?
Maybe change my subcription from uncapped to softcap 20 gigs then nuke it after a month? With four people online doing gaming and lots of youtube my requirements have changed. Basic maths shows me that my current package is :
2 meg R165 pm
Line rental R189 pm
Uncapped R229 pm
Total = R583
Now should i go to 4 meg :
4 meg R299 pm
Line rental R189 pm
20 gig softcap R99 pm
Total - R587
R4 difference , all in all not bad.... However the data...... I am sitting and waiting for WOW to update ... 18.88 GB , thus softcap is toast already... If possible i would nuke the R99 softcap after a month then try a different ISP.
I have read a lot about Vox and the fat pipe 100 gigs for R189 pm , all in all going from uncapped 2 meg to 4 meg 100 gigs minus the R99 softcap and adding the vox will cost around R90 pm extra. R94 if you add the R4 difference from the previous sum. If anyone can give me any advice or just show me any flaws with this it would be greatly apprecaited .
Thanks
