I'm sending this cry into cyberspace hoping someone can help us. We are a public school of about 1200 learners in Somerset West, Cape Town. Since Friday last week, we have had no ADSL connectivity. Our ISP is DataPro, and they have confirmed that the problem lies with Telkom. Telkom has been EXTREMELY unhelpful in this crisis. We are depended on parents accessing our website (which we host at school) to pay school fees, get exam details, etc.
If there is anyone who knows of any other way of getting help, please let me know.
Other stats:
ADSL 4mb line, ISP: DataPro (Uncapped solution), Cisco 800-series router.
And yes, I have tried to switch the router off and on again and yes, I have called 0800 375 375 (held on for about 1 1/2h).
