I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to source a Zalman VF3000F for GTX580/570. If any one knows of a company that stocks this or could get it, please let me know. My 570 really needs a cooler, the blocky graphics are becoming a little annoying.

Or if you know of another cooler that could do the job please let me know.

The card I have is an ASUS ENGTX570 with a stock cooler.

Blocky graphics?
Is it overlocked?

How's the airflow in your case? Post the temperature of your cpu/motherboard etc

Ok sorry, should have mentioned more. The card is not overclocked at all, runs standard clocks etc. the airflow is fine, the PC is housed in a HAFX case with all fans running normal.

In idle mode, ie on the desktop with nothing running the temp on the GPU is between 55-61C. When under load, and I say this with a pinch of salt (as I run all games in very low settings) the GPU runs at between 95-100C. By low graphics, I mean that in Neverwinter and STO I run at 50% and 40% on the graphics settings, hence the blocky graphics (there is no post processing or anything like that or the card over heats). Hence why I would like to get a cooler, that will allow me to run the games at least at medium settings. My wife has a GTX460 and she gets better graphics than I do and her card runs way cooler in the same room.

Are you running driver 320.18? If yes revert to 314.22.

PS: Are you running Evga Precision or MSI afterburner?

Before you spend the money, why not try taking off the cooler. Removing the old Paste..
Replace the paste with Arctic Ceramique or MX-4. I would recommend MX4. Apply in a X on the gpu and reattach.
Should sort you out without needing a triple slot card cooler that is no longer manufactured.

Yeah I'm running 320, but I had the same issue with 314 and the version before that, so I don't think it is driver related.

I'm running ASUS smart doctor, with a profile set to run the fan at 85% the moment it goes over 60C.

Can you tell me where I can purchase the MX4? Would really like to give that a try and see if it helps. After doing a lot of searching on the tubes, it would seem to not be just my card, as there seem to be a rather large number of people with 570 cards complaining about the temps.

Search for arctic cooling mx-4 on pricecheck.co.za. About six shops selling them. Actually going to order a tube for myself now from Landmarkpc.
