HELP!!Unlocking my Billion 7401vgp on MWEB

Hi there,

I am newbie to adsl and this, but my billion 7401vgp is locked on MWEB and i can not connect to any ISP.

Is there software to unlock the router?

Please help!

One of the MWEB reps mailed me the unlocked firmware a while back, try sending them a PM.

Click on your login name at the top. then you will find "Send Private Message" link on your profile page.

i have pmed mwebguy and billion rep for firmware, i got it but it is still locked :/

i know will@mweb have same router unlocked , not sure how he did and he says supports half bridge mode when it is unlocked

so if you get it right please upload the firmware so i can get it also.

edit: mwebuy pmed me some new firmware that i will try .

still locked, i will try the telnet thing now and see how it goes :/

telnet works yes, but you dont half bridge mode , you can only dail accounts from your pc .
