Help!!! Vodafone modem won't detect MTN SIM

i have a vodafone k3565-z usb stick. imei number 356517038126004
please help me with unlocking the modem. i want to use my mtn sim. at the moment it does not detect my sim, only vodacom sim.

Erm... modems aren't locked in this country so I don't know what we can do to help. You did buy it in SA, right?

The vodafone software on the modem won't work with the MTN sim so you need different software download this program http://nerve.org.za/mdma unzip it to your desktop, make sure vodafone software is closed and then run the program...

the software detects mtn sim but when i click connect it gives an error...hardware.....

He could also download the generic Join-Air software from the modem's manufacturer, which also works a treat.
