Help - What is causing this

I am also on the Sunninghill Exchange. My voice was also down for 10 days. That was because the curb-side box had a broken connection to the exchange.

I have the exact same problems with my ADSL. At the moment, it is not connecting at all.

Still waiting for the techie to come...
 
My voice was down because the cables on 12th Avenue in Rivonia got water in them. Really annoying. At least your ADSL is completely down, the tech can't say that there are no problems then.

I am now going to bitch for a refund. Over the last month I did not have voice for over 10 days and had crappy ADSL for another week. The worst part is that I got Closer 4 at the begining of Jan so I lost all the minutes and also ran up a huge cellphone bill while waiting for them to fix the voice part.

Good luck, and tell them to give you a refund when it is fixed.
 
F**k, I hate Telkom. All fine up until 8:55pm tonight. A bit of a hickup with 6 reconnections between then and 9:45pm. Fine until 11pm and then all hell broke loose. Down more then up at the moment (connected through dial up :( ). That MTN offer is looking more attractive by the minute.
 
My voice side has been fine all along, connect to Sunninghill exchange as well!

My line has been stable for 1 day now, no disconnects... took my modem to a mates house for 48 hours, not one single disconnect, so its definately the line..

Phone 0800 375 375 option 4 and ask for Adam, he is the Super on the desk, was an excellent help to me ... then there is Shoes at the Sunninghill exchange, knows his tihs.
