Help with a R9mil site

Your pictures are stretched; there are quite a few spelling and grammatical errors; the logo looks like a WordArt font; the menu is okay but lacks "pizzazz" - maybe some sort of animation and re-structuring will help; there is a distinct lack of contact info on the main page which I have an issue with personally; the top half of your site seems boring - it doesn't grab my attention.

The reference site has a far better top half but as soon as you scroll down it just becomes a wall of text which is very off-putting. I'd work more on consolidating your information better and making the front page look more like an interactive marketing brochure than anything else.

I am of course no web developer. I can only tell you from my perspective as a consumer...

Banner needs work,slogan using horrendous font,images for boats are stretched weird,rest not bad

My feeling as well.
Also I'm not a fan of the animation being used on the images - reminds me of a rather dull PowerPoint presentation.
Font definitely needs a change.
Different colour for the background and the banner needs some edge to it.
Also the layout and colour scheme for the Menu's could be touched on.

I'm no web designer but your buttons needs to be a bit more 3D. The flat grey buttons look cheap.

Too much grey and white.
Pics are too stretched.
Try doing the background in a light shade of blue.

From a developer point of view I wouldn't buy a boat from them for R5 mil as it looks like they paid the web design company R500 for that site

Yeah for a website selling products worth millions, it looks pretty cheap. I can understand why he would say it lacks class. The font and blank white sides make it look very bland and sterile. You got some good feedback here. All the best!

Although we do not know what price they paid for the site but still it just doesn't feel right

It's ok, but lacks a certain je ne sais quoi.

I don't like the fonts at all.

Column spacing on FF not working well - "Commercial Boats" barely fits in.

Justify the text.

The title seems pixelated.

The white background also looks a bit bland.

@OP how many PMs have you recieved with people trying to get the business? I would suggest moving to a standard platform like Wordpress and then expanding from there.
