Hi,

I have an a Ryzen 9 7900x installed in an ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI Mobo with 128GB of DDR5 6000Mhz RAM 2 x (G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR 32GB x 2), also installed is a ASUS ROG STRIX RTX3080 OC GAMING V2 10GB, not that it matters.

The problem I have is that when ever I enable EXPO, just that, nothing else, my machine boots into safe mode and tells me to fix my BIOS settings. My machine will only boot up in 'optimized defaults' mode, which makes my RAM run at 3600Mhz.

Does anyone know whats going on or have a fix?

I have the latest BIOS installed. I think its v1709.

At a glance it looks like you do not have matched ram, you have two separate pairs of matched ram. Try switch on expo with only one pair installed, test for each pair.

The underlying memory chips are sometimes different such as from different manufacturers or different models, which can cause issues with synchronization at overclocked frequencies, resulting in synchronization at lower jedec level speeds.
