Whew just dont know, its insane. Going to shut down mains tomorrow and see if anything is draining it then Monday will check Geyser temp. What temp is normal? 50 D?

Seem to recall that you need to hit 60 regularly to prevent Legionäres disease.


Keep switching devices off until the meter stops moving. Do this patiently and you'll find your rogue device

The complex's electricity use might be shared. Investigate

I don't know the details of your complex but have a look at this link to see where you stand. If you only pay for your unit, then maybe start with the geyser as a possible culprit

Hey guys need some advice, my consumption for 1 x person is about R900-00 in a complex, no pool.
How do I isolate whats going on, whats draining the electricity?
I only use a fan every night, my PC is on all day HTPC.
Use a fridge and some TV's on standby, thats about it and shower or bath every day.

It seems crazy for 1 person.

So is there a device I can buy to find out whats happening? Maybe its the geyser?
