Have a weird problem with Firefox 3. When I want to log into my router (Billion 5200) you type in the address and nothing happens. Just get a 504 Gateway Timeout error.

Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:

Code:
A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
Please contact the administrator. [/QUOTE]

What really annoys me is when I try it in Explorer  it works and I've never had problems doing it before with FF2 so what gives?

Any suggestions?

do you have a proxy cache specified in the settings? Turn off the proxy and try it again.

Works

Ta very much.

It's a small thing easily worked around but it annoys me :D

I know... it catches me all the time as well. I like to leave that proxy setting on... and then a few days later I am cursing at the router again! :D

Just put your router's IP in under "no proxy for" below the proxy settings. ;)
