help with multiple adsl soloution

Hi guys

ok i have 4 ADSL modems around the office all 512k

2 are in my server room and another 2 are in the conference room

Would it make sense to get the 2 out in conference room and upgrade the other 2 to 4Mb line and i could patch to people if they needed.

from our cabinet in server room to conference room cabinet is a fiber link ?

should be fine hey ?

From a purely financial point of view, upgrading the two server room lines makes much more sense than keeping 4x 512kb lines.

Well, we have 2x 4mb lines. It does make sense. Why they want adsl lines in the conference room though, that does not make sense

512 is not cost effective at all.... having 4 is even less cost effective.

Just by having one 4 mb line you save a fortune.

people are in positions that dont know there job its unbelieveable

Halve them, make use of 2 modems per 4MB line and Bridge one port per modem...
