help with muose scroll

when it's appears my ******* friends have gone and f*&t up every thing, And I think I've sorted out the problems, but I can't get the mouse scroll to work... Please help, It seems that If I go to control-panel and mouse options, and I go to the wheel, there's no why to change it, Or get it to work

What kind of mouse is it?
The first thing to do is remove the mouse driver. Manually shutdown the PC by momentarilly pressing the power button wait till the system has shutdown. Power on the system and allow the system to autodetect & install the mouse driver. Let us know how it goes.
