Help with some routing :)

Ok atm all i want to to is access files on my WUG pc, which i cant , so let me explain my setup

wug pc running 172.18.48.57 255.255.248.0(used to connect to ctwug)
main pc 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0
(main pc and wug pc plugged into 192.168.1.254 router)
router between them runs 192.168.1.254
router connect to adsl router 192.168.1.1

Atm i can see the downloads folder on the wug pc from the main pc, but cannot copy or play the files form it, gives me error that i dont have access.

I did add static route on the 192.168.1.254 router

I added a second i.p on my NIC of the main pc which is 172.18.48.58 255.255.248.0, which made me able to see the download folder on the pc.

Main pc run windows 7 ultimate 64bit , wug pc runs windows xp sp3 32bit.

I cannot chance the network of my adsl router, my adsl router changed its password by it self and reset does not reset it.

Then its not a network issue... but a file permission issue.

hmm file permissions is all set

Are you perhaps just forwarding/allowing certain SAMBA ports?

Or are you allowing all ports to that IP? If you are, then it sounds like a SAMBA (windows shares) permission issue and not a network/routing issue.

i have not touched an ports etc, where can i set that?

firewall is off on both pcs and router
