hi im a compleat n00b so bear with me
i have this motherboard in my cupboard gigabyte GA-8i925xe will this the thing is i need a processer will the pentium D 940+ work with the motherboard
and i have 2gigs of twin2x corsair ddr2 can u also rate the system ill have if all this works together

no, it wont

For pentium D cpu's you require a 945/955 or 975 chipset.
By the looks of it, your motherboard has a 925 chipset, so you are stuck using single core cpu's (look for pentium lga775 cpu's with model numbers 6xx)

It also looks like you have a problem with your CaPS LoCK.

well in that case i think ill have to get a board that will support a duel core processor does any 1 have any good recomendations on what a good motherboard would be

and you can get a keyboard with a non sticky shift button from logitech. I run with the Logitech UltraX Keyboard.... wanna have a look into that?
