[Xbox 360 Agent Weed]

Is it just me or is cybersmart adsl worse than Hsdpa reliability???
Or could it be my router (telkom 5102g)??

Heres the story:
My internet will work fine, then stop working and when I try later like 5 minutes its works again and the cycle goes on. Is it my cheapass isp or my router or possibly even my line???

Also has anyone configured a mecer gs8100 vulcan router to open NAT. After port forwarding and ip filter off I still only get a strict NAT and thus I have to use the telkom router.

Does the ADSL light on your modem stay on or go off after a while?

We had the same problem with our one connection, and it was a line problem. Telkom techie had to come round to sort it out.

ADSL trouble

The adsl light blinks (but i think it supposed to do that) and the pppoe light stays solid green.

Just bought an axxess voucher so gonna see if this works fine, then I know its cybersmart trouble

Ok tested and both isp's giving trouble, now testing with a different router, if there is still trouble it must be my line then.

I was on cybersmart and experienced the same issues in Jan / Feb: Turned out to be partially them but also my router was damaged form a power surge and the telkom line was dodge city.

Only found out the 2 when my DSL went down for a week in March (I went over to axxess) and the Telkom techie picked it up.

Thanks for the replies. It seems my telkom router was at fault or maybe the settings but whatever the case, I am using a mecer gs8100 router now and it works. If only i could get the NAT down from strict :-(
