i dont think doob was being serious hes been to LAN's and stuff so if he doesnt know what it is he is blind and deaf.

we dont mind people not knowing what bf2 is. people must WANT to help us silly (and very often, lonely) gamers. i think she wants to help us. Bring us back a Guild Wars server!!!

not to sound to pessimistic here but do you think Blizzard would invest for less than 1000 player server? I mean BF2 is a hugely popular game in SA and the max during a weekend on the SGS servers ever reported was around 180 odd people.

maybe WoW would get a more numerous following since its hardware requirements are less astronomical than BF2's, but i have heard that there is a study being made by the company which releases Blizzard products to see how woud WoW fare in SA.

If they ever released a local server(never gonna happen), would you really play there? I enjoy hooking up with whoevers' in town to complete a hard quest, or organise a fishing party(the most fun you could have on wow .
Would you meet that many random people on a local server?

WildAngel - If I may offer some free advice in terms of Digital Planets UI

When for example you click on the Gaming link in the top menu all it shows you is a list of very small font game names. It might be an idea to have a "landing page" for the user - instead of dumping them directly into a boring looking index.

The page needs to pop - be attractive to the eye. Be full of covers of newly released / upcomming games.

The Landing Page should contain all things related to gaming

The
/ latest hardware that has arrived
/ Current Specials
/ Gaming Events that will be taking place
/ New Games that may be comming up. "Pre Order" you game now
/ Reviews of Games just released, with a couple of screenshots
/ A "troubleshooting games" section.
/ A general articles section - prehaps a blog. "What is DirectX and why is it important to the gamer.

As Far as "grimly little paws" go - be wary of those little paws - they are sneaky and you never know where you may find them. Maybe we'll see you at a LAN event soon

But seriously - I think that it would be a very good idea for you attend one or two. Even if as an anonymous observer.

They are usually allowed - as long as they don't look like kiddy fiddler's. BTW what is that device on your main page - a "PEDOmeter" - what does that measure - an unfortunate name I think.
