Wasup??

Hi guys,

My name is Nikki aka WildAngel. I work for a company called Digital Planet. They have employed me as the product manager of their gaming section. So basically, I have been employed for you! :) I am responsible for getting the latest and greatest games as well as all the other fancy (but necessary) extras! I need your help, if you have any suggestions as to what I should be getting for you guys and if you want to help me out with reviews, recommendations and stuff for the website that would be great! I can then use this information to get the latest titles, newest hardware and other fantastic extras onto my site.

straight up.. all the good games get here eventually, but thats the problem... eventually. Get us to get the games when everyone else does and it would be awesome.

And I dont know if you just do PC stuff but PSP and Xbox are negelected in this country. Not to mention high memory cards and stuff.

thats exactly it, if i know what games everyone is waiting for, i can arrange to get them here so all you gamers can get your grimly little paws on them as soon as they arrive..

yeah i know, I'm working on the PSP, i know that it will hitting SA soon. :D
 
Me desperately seeking surround sound headphones with a microphone attached.
You need that for BF2, and they don't seem to exist.
Sure surround sound headphones do exist, but not with microphone atached, which is really annoying.
 
i have a psp now but i want mah 2gb memory stick and games maaaaaaaan

and when the new grand theft auto san andreas comes out without the nude content and if you were to still pimp the old version.. well that would be cool too

Didn't some copies of BF2 ship with the headset microphone you speak of ? (for like R50 more)
 
I agree with vrapt0r, I think it is great to have wildangel here, this shows that digital planet does indeed care about getting customers the things they realy want and not some crap like barbie playhouse. Which is kind of all that CNA seem to be stocking these days.

I personally would like to see a lot more "Classics" games being resold. (C & C renegade, etc) as well as the latest titles when they are released in europe.

Plus when I first got into the scene I did not know what the F*$K WTF meant, but we all learn.

Bet you that wildangel is to busy to even play games but cudos to the effort made to actualy come onto the one of the local SA forums to hear what the customers want.

I had this wierd dream last night, Digital Planet got hold of WOW [World of Warcraft] and managed to get permission to host a WOW server in SA. But then the dream turned to a completely different angle ... :p
 
I am looking forward to AoE3 (Age of Empires 3) M$ (Microsoft) are predicting a release date in the 2nd half of the year. WildAngel got to learn some new acronyms to boot :D.

First off I'd like to say BRAVO, I think this is a brilliant idea. I've bought a few things at digitalplanet and I pretty impressed so far. :D

I would keep an eye on websites like www.tothegame.com and www.megagame.com, get a list of the up and comming games as well as the list of the top 5 most wanted and put a poll on your website, let us chose from the list on the poll. I totally agree with slim, having to wait for ages for the game to eventually arrive in SA is a pain.
 
my girlfriend plays bf2 with me but when i say i wanna play some bf2 she doesnt know what i'm talking about. acronyms and abbreviations i dont really care about, as long as WildAngel cares about what she's doing :)

So, tannie WildAngel. Is there anyway you could speak to the powers that be and organize that we get some local servers for Guild Wars and/or World of Warcraft? Its flippen ridiculous that we cant play the games just because Telkom sucks.

Oh, and bring me Serious Sam 2... Need some hectic co-op play offline :)
