Hi everyone

I am having huge issues with my contract with MTN. I upgraded in October last year and was supposed to be receiving 200MB / 250MB promotional data per month.

I have received nothing to date. I Hello Peter'd this. I've been to the store. I have phoned the call centre. No joy.

Does anyone have any contact details (email address) for anyone reliable at MTN who may be able to assist? Or if there someone on the forum who can help?

No sorry. It was in the October Yello'Trader though if that helps.

MTN peeps say I'm supposed to be getting the data, however I'm just not getting it. Always the same - "You will receive an sms saying it has been loaded"....

My bill this month is at R1900.00 (R1200.00 was for data) - If I had been receiving my 200MB, that should be reduced by R400. I'm so pissed off right now.

Why didn't you buy a data bundle?

Because he was supposed to be getting the data??

Anyways Divashen - its your fault for not verifying that you are using a bundle instead of going out of bundle (OOB).We refer to this as the OOB shark as many people have been caught out by it.Thank your lucky stars your bill is only r1200 because some people get caught for 50-60k!

I cant offer you any advice other than to leave MTN when your contract is up.It seems you have tried everything besides storming into their head office?
