I get a windows svhost.exe Generic host process for win32 services error
Does any1 know how to fix it ????

Sounds like a virus - make sure there are none by doing a full scan.

Otherwise run the SFC utility included in Windows XP. I think you just type in SFC in the RUN box.

Could be one of a billion things, so there is no quick and easy fix for it.

One of the services running is crashing. You can see the services under control panel=>Administrative tools==>Services (Not in Windows Home).

Things you could try:
Virus scan as suggested above
Memtest86
Disabling all the non Microsoft services.

You might also want to supply some info like, when this is happening, what Operating system, what exactly the message says...
