One of the services running is crashing. You can see the services under control panel=>Administrative tools==>Services (Not in Windows Home). Things you could try: Virus scan as suggested above Memtest86 Disabling all the non Microsoft services. You might also want to supply some info like, when this is happening, what Operating system, what exactly the message says...
